Are you ready to embark on an engaging journey towards personal and professional growth? Empowering students and educators with a foundation to work from their strengths provides a resource that not only contributes to academic success but to life in general. Too often individuals are quick to identify what they believe their challenges are and that they “can’t do it”. Transforming the way students experience their education is key to creating a strengths-based culture that fosters professional growth. This workshop will provide you with ideas to integrate a strengths-based culture throughout the dental hygiene curriculum to develop decision-making skills, and strong performance, and promote life-long learning for both students and faculty. These concepts align with CODA Standard 1-2 (humanistic culture), 2-21 (self-assessment), and 2-23 (problem-solving).
