Digital scanning of patients is becoming more and more routine in dental practices around the world. Dental professionals are seeing the benefits of scanning all patients in their practices for a number of reasons. Dental hygienists specifically are playing a more pivotal role in utilizing digital scanning technology to help patients understand their current oral conditions, as well as help track any changes over time.
