Beth Chartier, RDH, MPH is an Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, Division of Dental Hygiene. She is the course director for Oral Health Behaviors, Community Oral Health, and Current Concepts for the Dental Hygienist. Additionally, she is the coordinator for dental hygiene outreach, Clinical Director for Ohio Special Olympics Special Smiles, and a practicing hygienist in the OSU Dental Faculty Practice. Beth is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and her research interests include social determinants of health and its impact on oral health outcomes and the oral health considerations for those suffering from mental illness.
