Ashley Rodriguez is an RDH that has a special interest in whole body health. She is a proud inaugural member of the FADHA and has worked in the dental field for 23 years and does not back down when faced with adversities. When she was told that she could not be a RDH because of a learning disability, she quickly proved them wrong. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bryan College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management. She earned an associate degree in Dental Hygiene as well as an additional associate degree in Health Services Management from Chattanooga State. Ashley has received many accolades over the years, including the STAR award from Colgate.
Ashley faithfully works to enhance the lives of her patients by providing comprehensive care. She educates her patients on the oral systemic link which includes discussing A1C, tobacco cessation, blood pressure, pH and dry mouth complications, oral cancer, airway management and much more. Ashley is a pioneer within the DSO where she is employed. She introduced the Oral ID cancer screening device, which is now in over 1000 offices. She gives the glory to Jesus for these accomplishments.
