Emily A. Ludwig, RDH, MSDH, is an assistant professor at the Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University. Her research primarily focuses on ergonomics and diversity and bias issues in dental hygienists. She frequently contributes to peer-reviewed journals and presents research findings at national and international conferences.
Emily has received extramurally funded grants related to ergonomics and diversity of the dental hygienist. She is a Reviewer at Large for the Journal of Dental Hygiene and a member of Dimensions of Dental Hygiene’s Peer Review Panel. Currently, she is also working on her Ph.D. in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences at Old Dominion University.
