Kandyce M. A'see, RDH, MS (she/her/hers)

Kandyce M. A'see, RDH, MS is a Professor of Dental Hygiene at Augusta University in Augusta, GA. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from South Carolina State University and Bachelor of Science of Dental Hygiene and Master of Science in Allied Health from the Medical College of Georgia (now known as Augusta University). Kandyce is set to complete her Doctorate of Education at the University of North Georgia this July where she is studying Higher Education Leadership Practices. Because of her own life experiences that led her to realize how imperative self-care is, Kandyce's dissertation focuses on work-life balance culture in academia and how it affects work-life balance policy utilization. She is passionate about sharing her story and her reserach in "balancing it all" with others.
