Dagmar Slot, DHdipl, BoH, BoE, MSc, PhD

Dagmar Else Slot is a dental hygienist by training and heart, who is very connected to daily clinical practice. She has been an author or co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed, international PubMed-indexed papers, including more than 50 systematic reviews on evidence-based dentistry, prevention of periodontal diseases and oral hygiene devices. She is the editor of the International Journal of Dental Hygiene. Dr. Slot is a recipient of the 2019 IADR Young Investigator Award, the 2013 World Dental Hygienist Award in the research category, and the Prevention prize of the Dutch Periodontology Association in 2016.
