Sarah O. Ostrander, RDH, DHSc

American Dental Association

Sarah O. Ostrander, RDH, D.H.Sc currently serves as the lead staff member for the Coalition of Modernizing Dental Licensure. Increasing access to care, improving licensure portability, and serving the public has always been a passion throughout her career. She previously was in academia, serving as the Dental Hygiene Program Director for HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College. She has served in many different roles in academia and truly enjoys the world of licensure and education. Dr. Ostrander has had the opportunity to serve as a site visitor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation, as well as speak at continuing education events and publish in RDH Magazine and Today’s RDH. Her clinical background was in public health, serving as a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner at external clinical sites.
