GENERAL INFORMATION
Q: How long is the Annual Conference?A: Three full days plus some scheduled pre-conference activities
Q: What are the dates of the conference?A: Friday, July 26 – Sunday, July 28, 2024
Q: Where is the conference being held?A: Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (New Orleans, LA)
Q: Do I have to be a member of ADHA to attend the conference?A: No! The conference is open to everyone, but membership gets you a significant registration discount!
Q: Can dental hygiene students attend the conference?A: Absolutely! The ADHA Annual Conference offers engaging events and useful tools for students to apply toward their professional career. Students can explore the Exhibit Hall, take various education sessions, participate in presentation competitions, attend social events and network with dental hygienists from across the country.
Q: Where should I stay?A: ADHA has several hotel blocks to choose from, based on personal preference. Book the headquarters hotel to stay close to the event or select a more budget-friendly hotel in the area.

REGISTRATION
Q: How much does the Conference cost and what is included?A: Pricing for the ADHA24 Annual Conference can be found on the
Registration Information Page. Be sure to review the pricing deadlines and what is included with each registration type.
Q: What if I am a student but also want CEs?A: The Student Registration type is now eligible to claim CE Credit.
Q: Can I purchase multiple Daily Passes?A: Yes – You may purchase Daily Passes for a single day or multiple days.
Q: Do I need to sign up in advance for Hands-On Workshops?A: Yes – Because there is limited seating for our high-demand Hands-On Workshops, ADHA reserves the right to give away your seat to waitlisted attendees if you are not present by 5 minutes prior to the start of the class.
Q: Can I purchase a guest pass?A: Yes – Guest passes can be purchased in conjunction with a paid conference registration.
Q: How do I purchase a guest pass for a family member/friend?A: Complete your regular registration, then select the “Add-on” guest option. This will be added to your cart.
Q: When is the deadline to cancel my registration?A: If you are eligible to cancel you must do so by
Friday, June 21, 2024.

- A $75 administrative fee will be charged at the time of cancellation for full conference registration categories (ADHA Members/ Nonmembers).
- A $25 administrative fee will be charged at the time of cancellation for Students, Retired and Daily Pass registrations.
- Exhibit Hall Only, Guests, IOH Donations, Awards & HOD Installation Reception tickets, After Dark Evening Event Drink Tickets and President’s Dinner tickets are not eligible for refunds at any time.
- Any cancellation requests received after the deadline will not be processed.
- All cancellation request must be received in writing, either by email to meetings@adha.net or by mail to the address below.

EVENING EVENTS & NETWORKING RECEPTIONS
Q: Are the evening events included in my registration?A: Most of them, yes! We are excited to offer 3 fun-filled evening events. Thursday's Welcome Reception
(Limited Capacity), Friday's Networking Reception and Saturday's After Dark Party!
There are select events that are offered by invitation only or that require an additional registration fee (i.e., Award for Excellence & President’s Dinner). Those events can be added to your cart during your registration process.
EDUCATION SESSIONS
Q: What is the cost of adding Education Lectures & Hands-on Workshops?A: Access to Education Lectures & Hands-on Workshops is included in your Conference registration (except for Guest Passes and Exhibits Only Registrants). Your registration category dictates whether you are eligible for CE credit.
Q: What if the Hands-on Workshop I want to attend is sold out?A: Check the online planner to see if the workshop will be repeated at another time. Otherwise, the conference offers other lectures you can select from.
Q: Will there be handouts available before the Conference?A: This varies by session. Some sessions offer handouts in advance, accessible within the ADHA24 Mobile app and Online Planner. Other sessions offer handouts on site at the discretion of the presenter. If you prefer a hard copy, you will need to print the handouts out on your own. Printers are not available on site at the Conference.
Q: Do we need printed tickets to access the lectures? A: Not at all! As we strive to reduce disposable printed materials at the Conference, you will not need a physical ticket to access education rooms. In order to receive CEs, however, you do need to be registered for the course.
